The National AIDS Control Council (NACC) is a State Corporation whose mission is to provide policy and strategic framework for mobilizing and coordinating resources for the prevention of HIV transmission and provision of care and support to the infected and affected people in Kenya. The programme aims at providing the youth an opportunity for on-the-job experience to build upon skills learned at school and for professional development hence, enhance their employability.

1 MIS 1 A Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science.

3 Policy and Strategy 1 Graduates of Economics/Strategic Management/Project Management/Public Policy Analysis
4 Performance Management 1 Graduate of Project management, Monitoring and Economics
5 HR & Admin 3 Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management
6 County Support (Head Quarters) 1 Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Project Management
7 County Support (Regional Offices) 9 Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Project Management
8 Finance 1 Completed CPA part 3 (section 6) or B.Com Accounting.
9 Technical Support 1 Graduates in Public Health with sub-specialization in Project management and development studies
10 Stakeholder Coordination 1 Community development or Social work or Project management or public health.
11 Procurement 1 Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain
12 Communication 1 Degree in Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism or Media Studies
13 Internal Audit & Risk Management 1 Degree in Accounting/Finance
14 Research 1 Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Biomedical Services or Public Health or Epidemiology
15 M&E 1 Graduate in public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Information Technology
16 HIV Investment 1 Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Finance

Other requirements the successful Interns will be required to have in line with the Internship Policy and Guidelines for the Public Service:

  1. Valid certificate of good conduct
  2. Personal Accident insurance cover for the internship period
  3. Copy of PIN certificate
  4. National Identity Card (ID) or copy of Passport
  5. Two (2) colored passport size photos

Eligibility and Duration of Internship

Be unemployed Kenyan graduates (graduated not more than 2 years ago) of degree or diploma programmes from recognized training institutions and have not been exposed to work experience related to their area of study.

The above positions are on a three (3) Month strictly nonrenewable contract. The individuals recruited shall be of high integrity and must satisfy the requirements of Leadership and Integrity set out in Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.

Qualified Kenyan GRADUATES are invited to submit application letters-specify in the subject the Division of interest-, up to date CVs, copies of certificates, testimonials, names and contacts of three referees. Applicants are also required to fill application form which can be downloaded from the NACC website (also attached herewith).
