Adolescents and Young People Implementation Partner Mapping

In addition to programmes lead by counties, development and implementing partners have rolled out several HIV programmes across Kenya. Given the significant number of new HIV infections and burden of HIV among adolescents and young people (AYP), there is a particular need to harmonize HIV programming across counties and districts to ensure that investments are being used as efficiently and effectively as possible respond to the need. It is in this regard that in July 2017 the NACC undertook an initial mapping of the implementation partners’ activities across the country for AYP. Whilst the initial mapping does not capture the activities of all implementing partners, the mapping provides an indicative geographical view of interventions and resources at county-level. Going forward, the NACC is working on instituting a full and regular cycle of implementation partner mapping to assist with decision making at all levels.
